New Job Board Slot Enhancement for LinkedIn

Current Slot Management

Presently, LinkedIn Job Board Slots Management allows customers to control recruiter usage by the number of slots purchased. Once the slot inventory has been reached users are unable to send new job postings. Only when the jobs occupying the slots are closed or expired will the user be able to post a new job into the newly vacated slot. This method of slot management works for many clients, and will continue to be supported.

New Enhanced Job Board Slots Management – Rolling Slots Model

When “Rolling Slots” is enabled in your eQuest administrator for LinkedIn, the job board button will now remain selectable – even if the slots are filled. As new jobs are selected for posting eQuest will automatically remove the oldest position occupying a slot making way for the new job.

More Rolling Slots Planned

Over the course of the next few weeks, we will continue to update this feature in other popular slot-based job boards.

Configuring Rolling Slots in your eQuest Administrator

In Board edit mode, you will see the “Rolling Slots” option underneath the Inventory Type selector. Check that box and you are done.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug which resulted in Job Updates using Posting Account Profile field values instead of the values passed by the ATS
  • Added logic to prevent browsers from auto-filling saved login credentials while in Board edit mode (admins)
  • Fixed bug which prevented the “Slots in use”  link in admin Board instances from being available in some cases
